In 2009 they finished - after a construction time of over one year - a beautiful and demanding new racetrack, just about 50 kilometers south of Bratislava. Because there were a few problems due to the ground water, they had to leave out the underpasses that had been planned for the three service routes. Instead, they built bridges for these service routes. This way, the racetrack arrangement was improved substantially. Now there are not only very demanding turns, but also crests. The racetrack includes very fast turns as well as slower parts that follow one another very harmonically. The width of the track is twelve meters; the 900m long finishing straight even has a width of 22m. Altogether, the racetrack is 5800m long. Trial operation in 2009 really filled everybody with enthusiasm!
There are 30 pits and in the paddock, there are a petrol station and a restaurant. From the terrace above the pits you have a view over a huge part of the racetrack. The paddock is fully tarred.
The racetrack is located south of Bratislava. Leave the motorway in Bratislava to go on to the E575 to Dunajska Streda. In Samorin, turn left in the roundabout, to Zlate Klasny. Now you have to go straight for quite a while. Finally you will see a petrol station on the left next to a roundabout. Here, you turn right to Dunajska Streda. Two kilometers before you reach Dunajska Streda you need to turn left to “Slovakiaring”.
