Motorsport arena

Around ten years ago now a very attractive motorsport arena was created in the middle of Germany. Today the race track can be reached very easily via motorway from all directions. The Motorsportarena hosts the DTM and IDM championships. The Superbike world championship is another of the large racing series to have been held here. Speedweek in August has now also established itself as a cult event. A highlight of Speedweek is the 24 hour race.

We have used Motopark since its opening for a three-day weekend event. A particular highlight of the race track is the triple left after the Hasseröder. This is where most of the seconds for a fast round are to be won. You have to go in blind here but still very fast although you know it is getting narrower and narrower and then you come out relatively slowly to the right. The course is very smooth. Spectators have a good view of large sections of the race track here.

We hold instruction, perfection and race events in the Motopark.

Here you can print out a plan of the circuit.

Checklist:

  • The paddock is tarred, but does also have areas for camping. Electricity connections are available; please bring blue 220 V ECE plugs. There are sufficient toilets at the bottom of the pitbox steps and these are also open through the night. The showers in the paddock are in containers; one of the few criticisms of Oschersleben.
  • The paddock is accessible from 19.00 hours on the evening before events. After the last day of the event participants can arrange to stay overnight. Important: caravans and mobile homes have to pay EUR 10 for electricity and water upon entry to the paddock.
  • There is a fuel station with card and banknote readers in the paddock.
  • There is a small bistro and snack bar in the paddock.
  • A tyre service is on hand at all times. Further information under www.slicks.eu
  • The pit area consists of 28 pitboxes. Only every second pitbox has a shower and toilet. The pitboxes are 6 by 14 metres. Two pitboxes always form a unit and are separated only by wire mesh.
  • Here racing systems can be used.
