Feel the power

That is the motto of the Eurospeedway. Today the massive venue has become established as a motor sport arena in Lausitz and is accepted by motorsport fans. For some years top racing series such as the German Touring Championship (DTM) and Superbike World Championship have been held on the Eurospeedway. For the DTM in 2005 a shorter alternative circuit was created so that the vehicles pass the spectators more often on the start-finish straight. We always use the over 4 km long motorcycle GP course, just like the Superbike championship. The circuit alternates tight corners and wonderful long 180 degree left and right bends. In these long bends you can slowly find the ideal lean. In the beginning the grip on the Eurospeedway was not very good. Now the grip is extremely good on a dry track. The venue is easy to reach via the Berlin – Dresden motorway.

We hold instruction, perfection and race events at Eurospeedway Lausitz..

Here you can print out a plan of the circuit.

Checklist:

  • The whole paddock is tarred. This makes camping relatively difficult. But you can make wooden slats for the four sides for an igloo tent and weight them down with car, motorcycle and trailer. Electricity connections are available; please bring blue 220 V ECE plugs. The sanitation facilities are in very good condition and also open through the night.
  • The paddock is accessible from 19.00 on the evening before events. After the last day of the event, it is possible to arrange to stay overnight in the paddock.
  • There is a fuel station in the paddock with card and banknote readers.
  • There is also a snack bar in the paddock. The opening times are 8.00 to approx. 20.00 hours.
  • A tyre service is on hand at all times. Further information under www.slicks.eu
  • The pit area consists of 44 pitboxes. Only every third pitbox has a shower and toilet. The pitboxes are 5 by 15 metres. Six pitboxes always form a unit and are separated only by wire mesh.
  • There is no noise limit. We break for two hours at lunchtime, then loud exhaust systems may be used.
